What is a semi-custom website?
A semi custom website uses a professionally designed WordPress theme as the foundation, then is tailored to fit your brand. This approach offers a polished, cohesive look with a more efficient timeline and investment. You get the benefits of a premium website without the higher cost or long lead times. I customize the theme to your business and brand, building out your pages so the final result feels unique to you.
How much does it cost?
Every project has a different scope of work so the investment can vary greatly. A la carte graphic design projects can start at $250 and websites or branding packages on average can be up to $3,500. I am happy to provide a custom quote for your project – submit a contact form and I will be in touch shortly after to better understand what you are interested in.
How do I get photos for my website?
I always recommend you invest in a photo shoot with a professional photographer to bring your brand to life. I can leverage stock photos to fill in gaps, if needed. There are a couple photographers local to my area that I am happy to recommend as well.
Do I need branding completed prior to a new website?
In short, yes. Think of it like building a home. If you start without a clear style, look, or feel in place, you’ll end up with something very generic that lacks personality. While it is possible to build a website first (and I have done it), I highly recommend establishing your branding before we begin. Having your logo and initial brand direction in place creates a strong foundation, making it much easier to design a website that feels cohesive, intentional, and uniquely yours.
Do you only offer WordPress web design?
For websites I build and host from scratch, I use WordPress because it is flexible, widely used, and highly customizable. It offers a strong balance of design freedom and ease of use, making it simple for you to update your site while still supporting important features like SEO, blogging, and scalability. It is also reliable, well supported, and compatible with a wide range of tools and plugins. Overall, WordPress provides a solid foundation for a website that is both beautiful and built to perform.
